Primary Responsibilities:
- Application Support & Maintenance:
- Provide production support for full-stack applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests
- Monitor application performance and availability; identify and resolve issues proactively
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring problems
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and post-release support
- Development & Enhancements
- Contribute to minor enhancements, bug fixes, and technical improvements across the stack
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Support front-end development and troubleshooting using React and JavaScript
- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL queries for Oracle database operations
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation for support procedures, known issues, and resolutions
- Create knowledge base articles and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes
- Track and report on incident trends and improvement opportunities
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with business analysts, senior developers, and stakeholders to understand problem statements and incidents
- Communicate effectively with users and team members to provide updates and gather feedback
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack application development and support
- Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of Oracle SQL/PLSQL and database queries
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns
- Solid proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development and support
- Proven solid analytical and debugging skills, especially in production support environments
- Proven good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver within SLAs in a fast-paced support setting
Preferred Qualification:
- Proven exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, ServiceNow
