Design, implement and maintain Java application within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
*Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
*Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects
*Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
*Establish, refine, and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
*Identify production and non-production application issues
*Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure questions Serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers
*Be able to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements
*Create, understand, and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
*Be able to define in-scope, out-of-scope and taken assumptions while creating effort estimates
*Be able to identify and integrate well over all integration points in context of a project as well as other applications in the environment
*Do required POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
– Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science /Engineering/Science/Mathematics or related field with around 8+ years of experience in executing the Java projects .
Preferred Qualifications:
•Health care industry experience
Technical Skills :
•Technical Experience : Java, J2EE, Azure, React.
•Strong experience in Core Java, Spring and Hibernate/Spring Data JPA
•Working Experience on any public cloud technologies Azure/GCP/AWS.
•Hands on experience of RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
•Experience in SOA based architecture, Web Services (Apache CXF/JAXWS/JAXRS/SOAP/REST)
•Experience in multiple application and web servers (JBoss/Tomcat/Websphere)
•Experience in continuous integration (Jenkins/Sonar/Nexus/PMD)
•Experience in using profiler tools (JProfiler/JMeter)
Experience in Snowfalke and Power BI tools is good to have
•Have a good understanding of UML and design patterns
•Have a good understanding on Performance tuning
•Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications.
Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.
