Billing Representative

This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required work an 8-hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer on the job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Interact with customers to gather support data to ensure invoice accuracy and work through specific billing discrepancies
• Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed
• Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables
• Work with processing claims and resolving issues with denied claims.
• Reviewing correspondence from insurance company and posting rejected reason on the bills.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of working experience
• Must be 18 years OR older
• 1+ years of experience in billing or accounts receivable
• Hands-on experience with large data set analysis using tools such as Excel
• Intermediate experience working with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, & working with formulas)
• Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications
• Ability to work full time on site at 8403 Fallbrook Ave West Hills, CA 91304
• Ability to work Monday – Friday , 08:00am- 04:30 pm PST

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job too
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare billing or accounts receivable

 

Soft Skills:

• Ability to multi-task and to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 – $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
