We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Consultant to lead and execute quality assurance strategies across software development projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in manual testing, database validation, and test management, with added value from exposure to automation tools and healthcare domain applications.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform various types of testing including Smoke, Functional, Regression, System, UAT, GUI, and Database Testing
  • Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements
  • Execute database validations using SQL or PL/SQL and support data retrieval for testing purposes
  • Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, HP Quality Center/ALM, and CA Rally
  • Conduct root cause analysis and present defect status reports to stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional and automation teams to ensure quality deliverables
  • Mentor junior quality engineers through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in walkthroughs, inspections, reviews, and user group meetings
  • Communicate daily testing status and updates to managers, leads, and stakeholders
  • Provide critical support to customers during high-impact situations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (B. Tech or M. Tech or MCA or M. Sc)
  •  8+ years of experience in the software testing industry
  •  Solid background in database testing and API testing (Postman, REST)
  •  Willingness to support rotational and night shifts
  •  Proven excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Experience with web-based healthcare domain applications
  •  Exposure to automation tools such as HP QTP/UFT, Selenium, or AccelQ
  •  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git
  •  Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
