This position is Onsite. Our office is located at 115 S Andrews Ave.  Room 514, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

This position is full time Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

        

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers and / or providers 
  • Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first level response and resolution of escalated issues with external and internal customers 
  • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment 
  • Investigate claim and / or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers 
  • Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities
  • Work as a member of the client’s Benefits Team.

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older 
  • 4+ years of direct client facing customer service experience and/or account management experience 
  • Experience with Medical Terminology 
  • Knowledge and understanding of claims processing 
  • Experience with communicating complex problem-solving scenarios with a client and internal stakeholder 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, sorting and data entry), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Microsoft PowerPoint (basic presentations) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar)
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated office location  
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time – Throughout Broward County for Field meetings
  • Required to work daily Onsite Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST at our office located at Broward County Government, 115 S Andrews Ave.  Room 514, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 

                 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • ISET Claims Systems experience 
  • UNET Based Programs Experience CES, TOPS 
  • Experience in Claims Payments, Claims Adjustments, or Enrollments 

             

Soft Skills: 

  • Ability to multi – task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
  • Effective Written and Verbal Communication skills 

           

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 – $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
