The Enterprise Information Security (EIS) team is responsible for cybersecurity across our organization. We support our business and members by reducing risk, rapidly responding to threats, focusing on business resiliency and securing new acquisitions.
UnitedHealth Group’s Enterprise Security & Resilience Office (ESRO) is looking for a skilled individual to drive executive reporting for a large and dynamic organization. This role blends strategy, risk and execution to help shape UHG’s overall security posture…from how it operates safely, to how it develops secure enterprise solutions.
The Executive Reporting Focal will partner with ESRO’s senior leadership to drive forward strategic initiatives, create structured reporting pathways, and bring their deep expertise in developing objectives, KPIs, and metrics. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with developing cross-functional partnerships, leading without authority, driving organizational objectives forward, and understands the importance of ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. Familiarity with cybersecurity, physical security, risk management, regulatory compliance, and/or the healthcare industry is also desired but a proven track record of delivery and continuous improvement is essential.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the program that identifies, tracks, and manages organizational objectives and key results to drive transformation initiatives from inception to completion
- Partners with our GRC function and various security teams to identify, develop, and maintain board-level reporting and metrics that show the health of security as well as the level of risk being carried by the organization
- Partner with security leaders to plan and execute on major security initiatives, with a focus on driving strategic transformation for the security function and reducing risk for the enterprise
- Mentor security teams to help them build effective objectives that show progress against transformation initiatives and operational objectives
- Manage reporting streams that are developed for executive leadership across UHG and ensure quality and consistency of reporting, regardless of pathway and purpose

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management
- Experience developing Objectives & Key Results and Key Performance Indicators with a deep understanding of the theory behind these tools and how to apply them to drive organizational progress
- Experience developing metrics and reporting for executive and board-level audiences
- 5+ years experience working in physical security, cybersecurity, risk management, regulatory compliance, and/or healthcare
- Proven solid critical thinking, written and verbal communication, decision-making, and tactical execution skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
