As a Pharmacist Intern Graduate, you will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to gain practical experience in various aspects of pharmacy practice. This position is designed to provide you with hands-on training and exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy, including patient care, medication management, and pharmacy administration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Medication Dispensing: Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Patient Counseling: Provide information and guidance to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and interactions
- Inventory Management: Help manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining medication supplies
- Prescription Verification: Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Clinical Support: Participate in clinical activities such as medication therapy management, immunizations, and health screenings
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally

Required Qualifications:
- Recent graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school
- Eligible for pharmacist licensure in Minnesota
- Current Pharmacist Intern license in Minnesota
- Proven solid communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $20.43 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
