Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
  • Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Prepare documentation in Support of external and internal audits
  • Perform adhoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
  • Perform SOX tieouts for reserves & membership between source system and General ledger
  • Performs work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Leverage technology to add controls and eliminate risk from reserving processes
  • Prepare reports and analyses as required in Support of the monthly reserving closing process and ongoing financial activities
  • Participate and help in the standardization of reserving analysis and accounting processes across the organization
  • Provide internal service and Support to project managers and field finance leads on various reserving related financial issues
  • Posting all Journals accurately and Timely
  • Reports & Seamless ME close
  • Accurate & Timely completion of Prelim membership report
  • Blackline Account Recs per Rec criteria
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Graduates / Degree Holders (B. Com M. Com)
  • 3+ years of Accounting experience
  • Working experience on MS excel, MS Access.
  • Proven excellent Written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven attention to detail & Quality focused
  • Proven good Analytical & comprehension skills
  • Open to working in Night Shifts

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Work experience on Peoplesoft & Blackline tools
  • Work experience on SAS tool
