The Healthcare Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, financial performance, and decision-making within the healthcare setting. This role will work with large datasets from electronic health records (EHRs), insurance claims, patient surveys, etc. using statistical tools, data visualization, and predictive modeling to identify trends and insights. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft’s Power BI.
This position follows a hybrid schedule with Three in-office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare administrators, clinicians, and IT teams, to translate business needs into data-driven data solutions
- Gather and organize data from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, and patient surveys
- Develop, maintain, and optimize analytic tools, dashboards and ad hoc reports tailored to identify areas for improvement in healthcare processes and outcomes
- Present data in a clear and concise manner, using statistical methods and data visualization tools to present findings
- Develop and maintain databases and data storage systems
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of BI reports
- Provide support to end-users on BI tools and best practices
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance
- Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes, staying up to date on the latest data analytics techniques and tools

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics
- Experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visualization)
- Experience working with healthcare data sources such as EHR (Epic, Cerner, Meditech), claims data, HL7, FHIR, or population health analytics
- Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data security best practices in healthcare
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Power BI
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
