Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions
  • Perform all phases of software engineering including requirement analysis, code, test, debugging, deployment, and support
  • Use best practices and experience to design, code, build, and test performance and scalable software solutions
  • Collaborate with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements
  • Use technical knowledge and experience to resolve development and support issues
  • Be able to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks
  • Participate in Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases
  • Collaborate with your peers to meet project timelines
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Investigate and resolve bugs and issues within the application and collaborate with the team to identify root causes and ensure timely resolution
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends, including AI technologies and tools to improve the development process
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 4+ years of work experience as a Software Engineer
  • 4+ years of experience in software development with solid expertise in Java, Spring frameworks, open-source frameworks, source control/git/GitHub
  • 4+ years of SDLC or DevOps/Agile experience
  • 3+ years of development and testing experience with either Java, and/or related tools/software
  • 3+ years of experience and understanding in DB design concepts SQL, NoSQL/MongoDB
  • 3+ years of experience working in Cloud Azure, AWS along with Terraform
  • 3+ years of experience and familiarity with automated deployments & Unit testing technologies i.e., Jenkins/Junit

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Solid Understanding of engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, Agile and DevOps
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Direct experience in developing solutions hosted on AWS and Azure
  • Proven experience in deploying infrastructure and applications using Terraform and GitHub Actions
  • Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
  • Proven experience with modern software engineering and product development processes, including Agile/Scrum, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps
  • Proven experience in development of REST/JSON APIs, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kubernetes
  • Proven ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment and drive technological innovation to meet business needs
  • Proven solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • HealthCare domain knowledge i.e., Risk Adjustment or STARS HEDIS                                                                                                                                       
  • Ability to work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
